Now that we have a good application interface - i.e. MDI Main Windows, Subroutines, windows & events, has anyone successfully and easily ported them over to a new application name to save recreating. It seems that windows and events only copy of they already exist. Any ideas gratefully recieved.

Tony,

You can either create an RDK Update deployment or use APPBACKUP for the current application. Then write a utility that renames the application references to all the entities in this "backup". Create your new application and then perform the appropriate restore procedure (i.e. RDKInstall or APPBACKUP). Keep in mind that application references exist within the SYSREPOS records and will need to be dealt with as well as your entity keys.
